Hi All ,
I'm posting my newest oil painting. This is 4th in a series of Ipswich River paintings. The title says it all. This is from a photo I took last Fall. Stay tuned for my next installment. Enjoy your day!
Here is the third painting in a series of Ipswich River paintings. This one is of Ring Bolt Rock this is near the public boat launch ramp. This is said, to what I have read and heard, that they would maneuver ships that came into Ipswich to unload there wares. Not a very big area, but ships were a whole lot smaller back in the day, also. I just love painting Ipswich. I never thought I would ever live here when I was younger. So very glad I do though, a very beautiful place.
This is my newest oil painting . This was done from a photo I took last Summer/Fall. at water st. in Ipswich Ma.
I love this town. It has some beautiful scenes of the ocean ,beach ,river and buy ways. The history of Ipswich is also very interesting and amazing. Just sharing some of the beauty I see, thanks for viewing!! :)
A new 8x10 inch oil painting. Look outside to day or tomorrow and take a look at some of those Spring flowers that are growing around your space. Take notice because they are very fleeting, they do not last very long. It is sure great to see the flowers after a long winter of many shades of gray. Enjoy and sending blessings to All!! :)
Another new gouache painting. I have been working on this for several days.I think it is finished. Sometimes I look at it for a few days and try to get a new perspective on it. Then think if it needs anything else. Comments welcome. thanks for viewing :)
A new Ipswich Marsh water color painting. I sold one like this yesterday, but it was an oil painting. I was inspired t o paint it again in watercolor. Thanks for viewing. ! blessings on your day :)!
Today I did a large drawing for my Church, OLOH in Ipswich, It is about 13 feet long and 4 ft. high, for and upcoming Mass . The Kids will color this and it will hang in front of the Alter. I love helping others to understand our faith. Too large for one photo.
Yet another newbie. I feel there is no limit to my creativity. Some ideas come easier than others, but I try to keep going. I am so blessed to have my creative gift. Thank you God.

An ocean side view of Annisquam Light . The first Light house I ever saw as a child, spending my Summers on Wingearsheek Beach.
This painting was done very quickly with watercolor on very slick paper. I tried to get color on the page and basically leave it and let it flow where it will. Just some of the fun that you can create with watercolors. Different from what I usually paint. Enjoy your day. It looks like a nice one !
New WC ! I think it goes well with today's weather. Enjoy these summer like days before they are gone until next year. Have a good one> :)
This is my newest water color. I finished yesterday. I did this from a photo I took when I was in CA recently.
I do not know the name of it ,so if anyone knows please let me know. I would appreciate it. Most of my paintings are about the light. I love to paint the way light reveals and falls on an object. Enjoy your day!
My brother was taking some pictures while on his jet ski a week or so ago. He posted them on Facebook. The day was unbelievably calm. I used this image to paint from. A lone gull sitting at a "rest stop"! Actually they call these buoys "cans" This is gouache water color.
